Ramses’ I Love You (2011) is a waveform of that very sentiment, recorded from the artist’s voice at 528 hz, rendered in static then printed in silver metallic ink on paper. While some of the expression’s inherent meaning may not translate into a visual medium, a new emphasis emerges when one is able to see “I Love You” at work.
